DESCRIPTION:During this workshop you will learn about the Skills for Small Business grant which supports small businesses with fewer than 100 employees. The program focuses on training new and existing full-time employees and with up to $2million available\, it is an ideal program to support small business employers in Texas. Small businesses can apply to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for training provided by public community and technical colleges. TWC will process the application and work with colleges to fund the courses. The business is then able to select the courses to customize training to their needs.
